Microsoft has made live the blog post on Windows 8 multi-monitor support. They note “(Note: This post is unchanged from last week when it was inadvertently posted as noted on @buildwindows8.)” and I redlined them and can confirm it is the same. So nothing has changed and if you read about it when we discussed it last week then you can go back to what you were doing.

It didn’t register to me just how important great multi-monitor support is in Windows 8 and what advantages this gives Windows 8.
As a visual designer (both motion and print graphic design) most of my day is spent working on projects that require a workflow between multiple programs. The ability to set one monitor up for secondary programs and keep the main monitor for the current focus is great. Also the ability to have one monitor be the Metro environment while the other is the Desktop environment goes a long way.
I’m still deciding on ARM or Intel based tablet.
This is also a no-brainer. This goes back to the days of AutoCAD and Integraph Microstation back in the late ’90′s where you could dedicate one screen to menu items and the larger screen to your drawing.
